As the end of the year approaches I think we can all agree what an exceptionally difficult and at times worrying year 2020 has been.

All our lives have been dramatically affected by the global pandemic with older people being particularly at risk of serious illness. Young people have also suffered huge disruption to their education, examinations and daily routine which has led to great anxiety for many about their futures.

I know how proud the staff and teachers are of the students at Northleigh - of how well they have coped with lockdowns and being isolated from their friends, as well as adapting to online learning.

I just wanted to take this time to wish all the students and staff of Northleigh House School a safe and very happy Christmas.

Let’s look forward to a new year full of hope for the future (with new plans for 2021!) and for our loved ones.
